Throwing away the paper I got these containers and I decided to recycle them by creating a sort of découpage jewelry tray.
It’s practical and so useful at the same time.
You can do it either with fabric or with napkins.
DIY N. 167
paper tray – glue (vynilic type) – napkins or fabric (light fabric is better) – cardboard or felt (for the ring holder) – lace for decorating – acrylic colors (I used white color for this tray, but you can choose other colors that suit the fabric or napkins you use).
Choose the paper tray (I liked this long one very much) and give it a hand of acylic color (white in this case).
Let it dry completely.
Mix the glue with about 1/3 of water.
Place the napkin or the fabric as you like and give it a hand of glue.
Let it dry (for at least one day), and give another hand of glue.
Prepare the ring holders by making cylinders of the measure of the width of the tray. cover them with the fabric or napkins with a layer of glue. Let it dry.
Stick the ring holders in the tray.
Add the lace, or other decoration if you wish.
Your jewelry tray is ready.
I hope you liked today’s craft idea!
See you tomorrow with another DIY!!!
